Somewhere around 2,000 runners will congregate in downtown Wichita on Sunday morning to run in the annual Prairie Fire Half Marathon.
Before runners cross the finish line near Century II, here is what information runners need to know before this weekend’s event.
Where and when for Wichita half marathon
The half marathon is slated to start at 7:30 a.m. Sunday with the 5-kilometer race set to begin at 7:50 a.m.
The starting line, which doubles as the finish line, is located once again at 225 W Douglas Ave. near Century II. The Runners Village will also be located near the starting line, which will include a bag check for personal items, medical tents, a food tent and an information tent…
