CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – A Charlotte man pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree murder after skeletal remains were found in north Charlotte woods four years ago.
Dejanarell Cherry was accused of killing Lavonda Floyd in June 2020. He was sentenced to 238-298 months in prison.
Floyd’s family last heard from her that July when she said she was leaving Charlotte to go home to Lumberton. She never made it home…
