The Mount strives to prepare students for all of life’s experiences especially in college as it is an all girls private-catholic college preparatory school. Alumnae like Megan Maransky ‘21 advise younger students to take in the lessons that are taught at the Mount both in the classroom and socially.
“I was surprised to see, that even in a place as brilliant as Duke, that female students still get self-conscious participating in classroom discussions or debates. At the Mount, I never felt judged or scared to share my opinion or speak up and it is this confidence that I feel that is the biggest impact the Mount has made on me” Maransky said.
