Saginaw man arrested in Indiana on drug charges

DEKALB CO., Ind. (WNEM) – A Saginaw man has been arrested in Indiana following a traffic stop where police found illegal substances and a firearm.

On April 19, an Indiana State Police Trooper initiated a traffic stop in a designated construction zone in DeKalb County. The driver, Steven Yntema, 65, was driving a vehicle without headlights or taillights.

The trooper discovered a substance believed to be illegal, which was later identified during preliminary field testing as suspected cocaine. Several items of drug paraphernalia and a firearm we recovered from the vehicle as well…
