Pensacola woman charged for denying treatment, not providing care for suffering dog

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — A 58-year-old Pensacola woman is charged with animal cruelty for denying treatment and not providing proper care to her suffering dog, according to an arrest report.

Pamela Miller was arrested last Friday on a charge of aggravated animal cruelty. She’s being held in Escambia County Jail on $100,000 bond.

An Escambia County Animal Welfare officer worked the case with assistance from the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office. It centered around Miller’s Yorkshire Terrier named Prissy, which was ultimately euthanized by authorities…
