Four vehicles catch fire at Google’s Bay Area headquarters

Four vehicles erupted in flames Thursday in a parking lot on Google’s campus in Mountain View, resulting in about $275,000 worth of damages, authorities said.

Firefighters were called around 4:52 p.m. to a parking lot on the 1300 block of Shorebird Way for a report of smoke coming from an electric vehicle that was charging, according to the Mountain View Fire Department.
