BPD seeks public’s help identifying man accused of robbing, assaulting security guard

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department requested the community’s assistance in identifying a man suspected of robbing and assaulting a security guard in April.

On April 7, the suspect allegedly assaulted and stole a cell phone from a security guard in a parking lot in the 4100 block of California Avenue, according to police.

Officials described the suspect as being a slim man in his 20s or 30s who is 5 feet, 8 inches tall. He was seen wearing a black Adidas hat, black shirt and pants and white Nike shoes with a black “swoosh” symbol.
