MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Shots were reported fired in a Raleigh neighborhood early Friday morning, leaving cars struck by the gunfire, Memphis Police confirm.
Officers say they were flagged down at Raleigh Millington Road and St. Elmo Avenue regarding shots fired and a vehicle being struck around 4:40 a.m. That is when they followed the female victim to her home.
The woman told police she heard several shots outside her home, and afterwards she went outside and noticed her GMC Terrain had been struck. Police say they found shell casings in front of her garage.
