Officials with The Dandelion Project are hosting a butterfly release to honor International Bereaved Mother’s Day on May 4, the week before Mother’s Day.
The event will be held at 1-3 p.m. May 4 at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens, 5050 SW 20th St., Ocala, with the goal of having “a heartfelt gathering for mothers who have experienced loss,” officials associated with Dandelion Project said.
Lisa Bolton, creator of The Dandelion Project, said in a news release: “For many Angel Moms, Mother’s Day can be especially challenging, as it brings not only cherished memories of their children but also the painful reminder of their loss. The Dandelion Project is committed to supporting these mothers by providing a safe space for remembrance and healing.”…
