WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – EmergeOrtho 5K will take place at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) as a celebration of the Girls on the Run, Heart & Sole, and STRIDE participants’ year-end accomplishments.
Public runners can join to help provide scholarships for future Girls on the Run and STRIDE participants. All proceeds will go to future participants and ensure more kids have programs to foster self-esteem, character development, and healthy lifestyles through running.
Prizes can be won by the top three male and female overall finishers, the top three male and female masters, and the top three male and female finishers in various age groups ranging from 6 and under to 70 and above…
