LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Sad news. We’ve lost a man who was perhaps the most recognized veteran in this area. Phil Crenshaw was on the first South Plains Honor Flight in 2012.
He was 90 then and we’ve been following his birthdays and other milestones ever since.
Nearly 100 veterans went on that first flight to Washington D.C. to see the memorials built in their honor…
