Moore-Lindsay Historical House Museum to host free 50th anniversary event honoring Scottish roots

The Moore-Lindsay Historical House Museum will host its 50th anniversary celebration with a Scottish theme to commemorate the former residents’ family history on May 17.

The Moore-Lindsay Historic House Museum was built in 1899 as a private residence but was converted into a historical museum in 1975. The previous owners, the Lindsay family, were descendants of Clan Lindsay, a Scottish lowlands clan that has existed for over 900 years.
