RALEIGH, N.C. (WKRC) – A man whose father said he had “superhuman-like strength” was convicted of murdering his mother and assaulting his father following a disagreement over gas money.
Christopher McCullough was found guilty of first-degree murder on Friday for the murder of his ill, 75-year-old mother in 2023.
According to local outlet WNCN, McCullough’s father, John McCullough, testified that his son was “uncontrollably violent” and had “superhuman-like strength” since he was 7 years old. John said he and his wife tried anything they could to correct Christopher’s behavior including boarding school and mental health hospitals, but it did not work.
