Greensboro’s State of Downtown presentation on Thursday showed the area is thriving despite some challenges that have continued to persist since the COVID-19 pandemic.
More than 9 million people visited downtown in 2024. That’s according to Downtown Greensboro, Inc., a nonprofit focused on investment and activity in the area.
The population in this part of the city saw an increase from around 2,700 residents in 2010 to about 3,800 last year. The number of downtown employees has grown as well…
