Lansing police credited with assist in Chicago PD arrest of crime spree suspects

CHICAGO, Ill. (April 25, 2025) – After a nine-month investigation, the Chicago Police Department is hailing Lansing Police detectives for their assistance in tracking down two men arrested in a two-day crime spree in 2024 that included offenses in Lansing.

Police accuse the suspects, both 21-year-old males, of committing several armed robberies, hijacking multiple cars, and shooting at an off-duty Chicago Police officer.
