20-30 shots fired at park in Carter Lake, 1 transported to hospital, police say

CARTER LAKE, Iowa (WOWT) – Police are investigating a shooting at a park in Carter Lake on Friday evening.

Officers responded to Mabrey Park just after 6:30 p.m. Friday for a report of 20-30 shots fired with a large crowd present, Carter Lake Police Capt. Josh Driscoll told First Alert 6 at the scene. He said the crowd dispersed when police arrived.
