APD: Walgreens robbery suspects arrested in Missouri

Police on Friday announced two people were arrested in Missouri in connection to an Amarillo pharmacy robbery two days prior.

As previously reported, early on April 30 an unidentified Black man entered the Walgreens at 34th Avenue and Bell Street , approached the pharmacy counter, presented a note indicating he was armed, and demanded access to the pharmacy area. The Amarillo Police Department said the man obtained an unknown quantity of medications and fled the scene in a dark-colored sedan parked nearby.

At the time of the robbery, the man had been wearing a black hoodie, blue surgical mask, and black gloves, and was carrying a black garbage bag…
