LOUDON COUNTY, Tenn. — A police pursuit in Loudon County ended with a crash into a radio station on Saturday morning, according to the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office said around 9:30 a.m., a chase began after a patrol officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop in the Martel Road area. LCSO said the car then took a turn too fast and lost control, hitting the back corner of La Lider WKZX 93.5 FM’s building as well as a car parked at the station. According to a post on social media from the radio, a worker was inside the station at the time of the wreck but was not injured.
