Charlotte Police Probe Death After Two Found Unresponsive in Freedom Division, Homicide Unit Seeks Public’s Help

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is currently investigating a pair of unresponsive victims found in the Freedom Division, with one subsequently pronounced dead upon arrival at a local hospital.

According to the CMPD’s public information release, the situation unfolded yesterday afternoon, when police rushed to the scene following a death investigation call in the 1100 block of Browns Avenue. Found at the scene were two unresponsive individuals, needing immediate medical attention, although, despite prompt action, only one victim could be rescued by the rapid response of MEDIC.

In the wake of this tragic development, Homicide Unit detectives have taken the helm of the investigation. Sifting through evidence, they scour for the fragments of truth buried within the walls of Browns Avenue.
