CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Hundreds of people gathered at James Island County Park to participate in a Walk MS event, fundraising for research and raising awareness about the autoimmune disease Multiple Sclerosis.
Mary Sue Andrews was one of many at the event, living with MS. She explained that Multiple sclerosis is a disease of the central nervous system, and it can impact vision, mobility, cognitive issues and lots of movement issues throughout your life.
