ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — A 35-year-old man was shot in self-defense after allegedly attacking an elderly couple at a home in Escambia County on Sunday morning, according to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say they responded to reports of shots fired on Rebel Drive and found Daniel Sonier with a gunshot wound.
