Cranston Police cruiser struck while investigating larceny

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Cranston Police Department said that a police cruiser was struck while investigating a larceny at the Five Below on Garfield Avenue on May 3.

The officer who was investigating the incident requested emergency assistance, and another officer who was answering the call was struck while travelling through the Cranston Street and Gansett Avenue intersection.
