PALMER, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – At approximately 4:20 p.m. on Saturday, the town of Palmer experienced a severe weather event.
Rondeau Road and River Street have been closed off due to trees and power lines in the road, with multiple structures impacted by falling trees and debris. One person was transported to the hospital.
When our Western Mass News crews arrived, we saw a multitude of trees uprooted, and a scene that one of our photographers described was like “walking through a warzone,” given how much debris covered the streets…
