April 29 Strom Update: Six Confirmed Tornados including One in Northern Stone County

The National Weather Service continues their surveys of damage from the line of severe storms that passed through the Ozarks on April 29.

While the majority of the Lakes Region avoided major damage, one tornado was confirmed that impacted part of northern Stone County.

The National Weather Service Survey Report says an EF-0 tornado began at 9:09 AM near the Lawrence County and Stone County line along CR 2210, about 2 miles west of Bradfield. The tornado had a path length of 3.06 miles, a width of 50 yards, and maximum wind speeds of 80 mph. It ended at 9:12 AM along Highway 413 just south of the Stone County and Christian County line.
