SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – A man allegedly attacked an elderly woman who was delivering food for his mother.
On May 3, the Shreveport Police Department (SPD) responded to a reported assault and battery incident on the 7300 block of Camelback Drive. Upon arrival, officers found that an 86-year-old woman was delivering food to the alleged attacker’s mother when he unexpectedly attacked her.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment for lacerations and broken bones. Fortunately, she is expected to recover.
After allegedly attacking the woman, Joe White barricaded himself inside the home. SPD says they were able to take him into custody without any further incidents…
