Arrest Made in South Portland Shooting, Suspect Charged with Murder and Robbery

An arrest has been made in conjunction with the fatal shooting of Joshua Manahan in South Portland. The suspect, identified as 42-year-old Rodney Marcus Arreguin, was taken into custody by officers from the East Precinct nearly a week after the incident, KOIN reports. The arrest occurred around 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, marking a turn in the investigation into the death of Manahan.

Manahan, a 44-year-old man, suffered a fatal gunshot wound reported around 10:20 p.m. on April 27, near the intersection of South Harbor Drive and South Harrison Street.
