Kent State remembers May 4th shootings 55 years later

KENT, Ohio — May 4th is a date cemented in Kent State University’s history.

The Ohio National Guard shot and killed four students and injured nine more during an anti-Vietnam war protest on campus in 1970. Kent State University held a commemoration on the 55th anniversary of the shooting on Sunday.
