( KRON ) — Two women were hospitalized with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds in Vallejo Saturday night following a shooting on the 1600 block of Fairgrounds Drive, the Vallejo Police Department said.
Vallejo Police Department officers responded to the area and found a woman suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Officers treated the woman until paramedics arrived, and she was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Around the same time, a second woman walked into a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound, police said.
The California Highway Patrol Air Unit spotted a vehicle that may have been involved in the shooting, VPD said. The driver was seen fleeing the area of the shooting at a high rate of speed. The vehicle stopped on the 200 block of Jill Lane and a man was allegedly seen concealing a gun in nearby bushes.
Officers with the American Canyon Police Department responded to the location, and the man was arrested. VPD officers also responded and seized the gun at the scene…
