On April 30th, Capt. Rick Ellet, owner of SeaTow SML, and four additional SeaTow captains used two of the company’s four towing vessels to unground a 22-foot center console fishing boat that had run onto the rocky shoreline near marker B11 a few nights earlier.
After stabilizing the damaged vessel with four heavy compressed air bags, the crew pulled it from its shoreline entanglement and towed it to nearby Gills Creek Marina where it was loaded onto a flatbed truck for transport to a salvage yard.
