The Grand Prairie Police Department is investigating a double fatality accident that occurred Sunday evening at SE 8th Street and Teal Drive.
At approximately 9:30 p.m., the driver of a pickup truck traveling south on SE 8th Street left the roadway and collided with a tree near Teal Drive. The driver and a passenger were pronounced deceased at the scene. Two other passengers were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators have not ruled out that speed and alcohol may be a factor in the collision…
