‘Stamp Out Hunger’ food drive returns May 10 in Green Bay

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Titletown Branch of the National Association of Letter Carriers is preparing for its annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, which takes place on Saturday, May 10.

Letter carriers and volunteers will collect donated food items along their regular delivery routes. After collection, volunteers will return to post offices to help sort the donations.

“It’s basically the largest one-day nationwide food drive in the country,” said Jeremy Beck, NALC food drive coordinator. “It’s really simple — we already sent out postcards last week, bags are going out this week, and then this weekend, on Saturday, we have the actual food drive going on.”
