Family displaced after lightning strikes house, causing fire in Chevy Chase

CHEVY CHASE, Md. ( DC News Now ) — A house in Chevy Chase caught on fire Monday night after lightning struck it, displacing the family.

The attic in the 2-story house, located in the 6700 block of Fairfax Rd., caught on fire at around 7:30 p.m. when lightning struck it.
