Albany man faces drug charges after Thruway chase that topped 120 mph

An Albany man is facing drug and other charges after a high-speed chase on the Thruway. The chase topped speeds of 120 miles per hour, police said.

State Police stopped a vehicle driven by Charles M. McCormick, 31, at around 3:20 a.m. Sunday in the town of Athens for a traffic violation. McCormick was under the influence of drugs, according to police.
