Two finalists named for next JCPS superintendent after national search

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Jefferson County Public Schools Board (JCPS) has selected finalists in its superintendent search after the current superintendent, Marty Pollio, retires in July.

According to a press release from the district, two finalists have been named. JCPS says they interviewed six candidates from a field of 34 applicants presented by the national search firm Hazard, Young, Attea Associates.

The two finalists are Ben Shuldiner and H. Brian Yearwood…
