Severe storms move through the ArkLaTex Tuesday, causing widespread street flooding & power outages

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – A powerful line of storms moved through the ArkLaTex Tuesday, May 6, causing power outages, street flooding, and some damage.

The line moved through Tuesday afternoon, starting in east Texas and moving into northwest Louisiana. As of 4:30 p.m., nearly 11,000 people were without power in Louisiana, primarily in Caddo Parish. Nearly 6,000 people in east Texas were without power too, with the highest number of outages in Harrison County.
