INDIANAPOLIS — An inmate in the Marion County Sheriff’s Office’s Adult Detention Center (ADC) has been charged after a reported altercation with another inmate last month.
According to a news release from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Derrius Gaddy is being held in custody on the following charges:
- Two counts of intimidation, each a Level 6 felony
- One misdemeanor count of criminal trespassing
The release said that Gaddy was reportedly involved in “an apparent altercation with another inmate” on April 29. After the incident, Gaddy was taken to a local hospital and later returned to the adult detention center.
Court documents indicate that Gaddy was taken into custody in early March on intimidation charges. In May, Gaddy’s bond was set at $1,000 cash, according to documents. However, Gaddy has remained in custody since his bond has not yet been paid…
