ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – A 21-year-old man faces charges after police pulled over a car he was riding in.
Tyriss Washington of Rockford is charged with aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon, unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and no valid FOID.
Just after 7 p.m. May 6, Rockford police pulled over a car near the intersection of Court and Grace streets.
Washington was sitting in the backseat of the car during the traffic stop, and police say they found two loaded magazines on him. They also say there was a handgun inside the vehicle that was reported stolen…
