Cardinals with St. Louis ties prepare for Conclave

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A St. Louis priest provided insight into the act of selecting the next head of the Catholic Church.

The 133 Cardinals will enter the Conclave at 3 a.m. St. Louis time on Wednesday. Two of the Cardinals have St. Louis ties: Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke, who served as Archbishop of St. Louis from 2004 to 2008, and Cardinal Timothy M. Dolan, who grew up in St. Louis.

A vast majority of the Cardinals were appointed by Pope Francis, who made it a point of emphasis to pick Cardinals from all over the world…
