Here’s where over a foot of snow fell during the May storm

DENVER (KDVR) — A slow-moving soaker of a storm passed over Colorado on Tuesday into Wednesday, dousing the region with much-needed rain and adding to Colorado’s snowpack.

As of Sunday, Denver was about 0.93 inches of rain below where the city normally is at this time of year, according to Pinpoint Weather Meteorologist Travis Michels. That means an inch of rain puts Denver back into the “normal” range for moisture.

The Pinpoint Weather Team reported that just an inch of rain translates to 10 inches of snow, and some areas of the high country saw over a foot of snow on Tuesday, and more is in the forecast on Wednesday.
