COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — A man pleaded guilty and was sentenced Monday for fatally shooting a victim in while squatting in a Commerce City residence.
Finn Hoover, 23, pleaded guilty in Adams County District Court to second-degree murder and was sentenced to 25 years in the Colorado Department of Corrections. Charges of first-degree murder and vehicular eluding were dismissed.
According to police, Hoover shot 37-year-old Alfredo Nunez during the early morning hours of Nov. 30, 2023, in Commerce City. The shooting happened inside a quadplex in the 7300 block of Oneida Drive but wasn’t reported until later in the day…
