Las Vegas (KSNV) — Mojave Max, the desert tortoise known as the region’s version of Punxsutawney Phil, has yet to emerge from his burrow this year, marking the longest delay on record.
Officials at the Springs Preserve used a “burrow cam” to check on Max’s status.
