Demand shrugs in face of Valley home market shifts

Valley homebuyers have more choices than they’ve had in years but apparently not many are looking to make a deal.

The Cromford Report said last week that the “slow drift towards a market that favors buyers” is reaching levels it hasn’t seen in 16 years as the square-foot price has hit an 18-month low of $323.12.

Of the 17 Valley submarkets it monitors, the Cromford Report said only five cities are current sellers’ markets but four of those are “very weak.”…
