CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Tennessee Department of Transportation released their 10-Year Project Plan this week, which included several key projects here in Clarksville-Montgomery County. The plan shows planned improvements to Trenton Road, widening a segment of I-24, as well as widening a segment of Rossview Road.
Under TDOT’s fiscal year 2026-28 three-year plan projects, one of the projects listed has more than $293 million going toward the enhancement of Trenton Road/State Route 48.
The project includes the widening of State Route 48 from two lanes to five lanes with a two-way left turn just south of 101st Airborne Division Parkway to north of Tylertown Road, according to TDOT’s official website.
