COLUMBIA, S.C. — Over 200 townhomes could be coming to a parcel of land less than a mile from the Broad River Correctional Institution, but only if the project gets the go ahead from the City of Columbia at a planning commission meeting scheduled for Thursday, May 8th.
The site, at 4000 Broad River Road, sits just half a mile south of SLED’s state headquarters and about a mile southwest of the Broad River and Kirkland Correctional Institutions.
