ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – Two pets died in a fire at a Leo-Cedarville home Wednesday morning.
Firefighters responded to a house in the 14800 block of Wayne Street, across from Leo Elementary School, around 8:30 a.m. The flames were under control within about 20 minutes.
Investigators determined the owners weren’t home at the time, but at least one dog died as well as another pet. Firefighters said two cats survived. The home was heavily damaged.
The responding fire departments include Northeast and Northwest Fire Districts along with Auburn crews. Crews are still investigating the cause of the fire…
