Child dies in Greensboro while with woman accused of running a child care facility without a license, district attorney’s office says

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A Greensboro woman is facing charges after investigators say a child died in her care at her day care that she was operating out of her home.

Police say she did not have a license to operate the daycare. Mercedes Rodriguez, 59, was in court on Wednesday.
