GREEN — In recent years, the City of Green has been unofficially recognized by motorists as one of the most roundabout-populated municipalities in the state. Last month, the city and its design partner, American Structurepoint, received national recognition for one of its most recent roundabout projects.
The city and American Structurepoint earned recognition from the American Council of Engineering Companies in the 2025 Engineering Excellence Awards, and a Regional 2025 Outstanding Highway Project Award from the American Society of Highway Engineers for the Massillon Road Roundabout Project.
The project included designing two multilane roundabouts to replace traditional signal-controlled intersections at Boettler Road and Corporate Woods Circle/Thorn Drive.
