Rain and Thunder Today

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – In the morning, a few sprinkles or brief, light showers are possible as a warm front lifts through the Tri-State. Storms are more likely with the cold front tomorrow afternoon and evening. We will not see any severe storms with this system, but it will be enough to be a nuisance for Thursday outdoor plans.

Skies will quickly clear out Friday morning, especially north of downtown where some areas could briefly drop into the upper 30s. It won’t be a frost or freeze, but you may want to bring in sensitive plants just to be safe. We’ll rebound into the upper 60s that afternoon and the mid 70s by Mother’s Day with nothing but sun or clouds all weekend long. Make some outdoor plans!

Our next best chance for storms will move in Monday and Tuesday of next week and after that another very active weather pattern settles into the FOX19 NOW viewing area…
