This afternoon brings a round of showers and thunderstorms and some could be on the stronger side. Gusty winds and large hail will be our main threats but the tornado threat is never zero. Timing will be in the late afternoon hours during the peak heating of the day. High temperatures this afternoon will be warmer than yesterday topping out around 80 degrees.
Friday is drier. Cloudy skies remain all day with high temperatures in the mid-70s.
This Mother’s Day weekend will have periods of rain but won’t be a washout. Saturday right now looks to be the wettest of the two days. Temperatures will be cooler both days with highs on Saturday around 70 degrees and a little warm on Mother’s Day Sunday with highs in the middle to upper 70s…
