POLK CO., Tenn. (WSMV) – The National Transportation Safety Board has released its preliminary report of the plane crash that killed the father and grandparents of a Middle Tennessee State University golfer.
The plane crashed in the Cherokee National Forest in Polk County, Tennessee, on April 11, killing the father and grandparents of MTSU golfer Carter Maneth.
The plane had taken off from the Lovell Field Airport (CHA) in Chattanooga at around 1 p.m. and was headed to Burlington, North Carolina. MTSU said the family was on its way to the Tar Heel Intercollegiate golf tournament when the plane crashed…
